Lionheart Artrecycle Radierung

1994 habe ich mit dem Projekt artrecycle begonnen, mein damaliger Kunstprofessor, Peter Redeker, hat mir für dieses Kunstprojekt gut 100 Original – Radierungen auf Büttenpapier überlassen. Seitdem habe ich die Radierungen einzeln in Collagen und Objekten eingesetzt. 2020, vielleicht war es die Corona Zeit in meinem Atelier, die mich bewogen hat, nun in Ruhe die restlich verbliebenen Radierungen künstlerisch zu bearbeiten. Bei der Bearbeitung bin ich den Radierungen mit überwiegend Landschaftsmotiven sehr nahe gekommen. Redekers Naturbetrachtung in den Radierungen ist leise, bewundernd, nicht verherrlichend. Für mich wurden diese Landschaften von Bild zu Bild melancholischer. Ich entschied mich sehr schnell für eine Collagierung und eine grafische Behandlung der Radierungen. Bei der Bearbeitung der verschiedensten Materialwelten war ich zwar der Akteur, die Moderation führten jedoch die Radierungen, als Resultat entstand ein bildnerischer Dialog.
