Painting 2021

My son has had ME/CFS, a severe multisystem disease, for 5 years. The condition has received more public attention as Long Covid can also progress to ME/CFS. Two years ago his son began to paint pictures, one picture over several days or weeks, depending on his state of exhaustion. He also had to give up one of his few jobs, which this insidious disease just barely allowed him to do, the disease took the last of his energy for it. So my son and I agreed that I would take up his pictures in the series „Greedy for Life“ and his experiences in the two series „Waiting Room“ and „Bad Docs“ and combine them with my subjective impressions of my painted pictures in the Technique painting on newspaper is allowed to express.

BoraiMy works tell short stories. As a medium, I prefer paper from daily newspapers. The information and illustrations in the newspapers provide me with the background for my artistic work.
